Cole & Co. is a vibrant, quality-focused cafe located in the heart of Mungret. We are passionate about delivering exceptional specialty coffee, fresh food, and outstanding customer service. We are currently looking for a motivated and organized Cafe Manager to lead our dynamic team, uphold our operational standards, and keep our daily service running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Operations

• Staff Rostering & Management: Create and manage weekly staff rosters, ensuring optimal floor coverage and labor efficiency.
• Training & Development: Train, oversee, and motivate staff members to foster a strong, collaborative team environment and maintain high standards of quality service control.
• Daily Problem Solving: Proactively troubleshoot any day-to-day issues on the cafe floor.

Service & Preparation

• Food & Beverage Preparation: Prepare specialty beverages to strict recipes, bake morning pastries, and assemble sandwiches and iced drinks to a consistently high standard.
• Customer Experience: Serve beverages, pastries, and desserts while bringing a warm, welcoming attitude to every customer interaction.
• Transactions: Receive and process cash and card payments efficiently using our Square POS system.

Stock, Equipment & Compliance

• Inventory Control: Manage stock levels and place routine orders to ensure the cafe is always fully supplied.
• Equipment Maintenance: Monitor our specialty brewing equipment (including Victoria Arduino and Mahlkönig machinery) to ensure it operates properly, reporting any technical or maintenance needs promptly.
• Health & Safety: Maintain strict HACCP oversight, ensuring a safe, clean, and compliant environment at all times.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: Proven experience in a similar management or supervisory role within a fast-paced cafe setting.
• Skills: Exceptional customer service, strong leadership abilities, and highly organized with an eye for detail.
• Attributes: A positive attitude, a friendly manner, and a true team player who leads by example on the floor.
