We’re Hiring: Experienced Café Manager Wanted!

We’re looking for a dynamic and hands-on Café Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our busy and well-loved café in the Wellington/Porirua region. If you’re passionate about hospitality, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love leading a team to success—we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the café, ensuring smooth service
• Lead, train, and support front and kitchen staff
• Manage rosters, stock levels, and supplier relationships
• Maintain high standards of customer service and cleanliness
• Handle cash-ups, ordering, and basic administration
• Contribute to menu planning and promotions in collaboration with the kitchen

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 2 years of café or hospitality management experience
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Understanding of food safety and health & safety regulations
• Positive, can-do attitude and a hands-on approach
• Barista experience is a bonus!

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $29.66 – $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
