Job Summary
The Campaign Director will oversee and manage all aspects of the campaign for a Republican candidate running for the Missouri House of Representatives. This position is responsible for developing and executing the campaign strategy, coordinating staff and volunteers, managing communications and outreach, ensuring compliance with Missouri Ethics Commission requirements, and driving the campaign toward electoral victory.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in political campaign management—particularly within Missouri Republican politics—and understands both rural and small-town voter bases. The director must be highly organized, strategic, and comfortable leading a team in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Strategy & Planning:Develop and implement a comprehensive campaign plan, including voter outreach, fundraising, digital strategy, events, and field operations.
  • Budget & Fundraising:Manage campaign finances, oversee donations, and coordinate fundraising events in compliance with Missouri campaign finance laws.
  • Communications & Media:Oversee press relations, social media, mailers, and advertising efforts. Craft messaging consistent with Republican values and the candidate’s platform.
  • Field Operations:Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for canvassing, phone banking, and voter registration efforts. Build relationships with local Republican committees, activists, and community leaders.
  • Data & Voter Targeting:Utilize voter data tools (e.g., GOP Data Center) to identify key precincts, target swing voters, and track outreach efforts.
  • Compliance:Ensure all filings, disclosures, and contributions meet Missouri Ethics Commission standards.
  • Event Management:Plan and execute campaign events, rallies, debates, and public appearances.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing or assisting in political campaigns, ideally at the state or local level in Missouri.
  • Strong knowledge of Missouri’s political landscape and Republican Party operations.
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work long, flexible hours—including evenings and weekends—during campaign season.
  • Proficiency in voter database management, social media strategy, and budgeting.

Compensation

Typical salary range: $3,000–$6,000 per month, depending on campaign size, fundraising capacity, and experience. Some campaigns offer performance bonuses or housing/travel stipends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $53,129.79 - $63,984.26 per year
