The Job Functions:

• Hands-on implementation, management, and maintenance of VMware Carbon Black solutions including Carbon Black Cloud, App Control, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and Capture Client.
• Lead migrations, deployments, and configurations of Carbon Black products across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
• Develop, configure, and optimize policies and rules within Carbon Black products to enhance threat detection, prevention, and response capabilities.
• Conduct troubleshooting and resolution of security incidents while providing thorough analysis and documentation.
• Monitor security infrastructure for signs of compromise, respond to security incidents and alerts.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Carbon Black configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with other cybersecurity and IT teams to ensure a coordinated approach to security challenges.
• Evaluate and integrate new security technologies to enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture.
• Provide training and technical guidance on Carbon Black products and best practices.

The Sizzle (the right candidate will fit the points below):

• A minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically with a focus on endpoint security.
• Proven expertise with VMware Carbon Black products and cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and VMware Cloud.
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cybersecurity and IT teams.

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity or related field.

Certifications requested:

• Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are desirable, but not required.
