About the Opportunity

Alpha Diagnostic Center is an up and coming diagnostic and family clinic serving Steinbach, Manitoba, created to address critical healthcare gaps in the region, including long wait times for cardiac diagnostics and specialist care. Our clinic operates under a remote specialist model, allowing experienced cardiologists to deliver high-impact care without the need for full-time on-site presence.

We are seeking a licensed Cardiologist to support cardiac diagnostic interpretation and reporting, working collaboratively with our on-site clinical team and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret cardiac diagnostic studies remotely, including echocardiograms and related imaging.
• Prepare accurate, timely diagnostic reports in accordance with provincial standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, family physicians, and clinic leadership to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.
• Provide clinical input on cardiac protocols, workflows, and quality assurance processes.
• Participate in accreditation reviews or audits as required (limited on-site involvement).
• Maintain compliance with CPSM regulations and applicable provincial and federal healthcare standards.

Qualifications

• MD with specialization in Cardiology.
• Active or eligible licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Manitoba (CPSM).
• Minimum 2–3 years of post-residency clinical experience.
• Experience with remote diagnostics or telehealth models strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a contract-based, remote environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $185,449.02 per year
