Care Partner Part Time 7am - 3pm

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Care Partners to join our team from 7am to 3pm. This role provides essential support to residents in a caring and respectful environment, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Ideal candidates will have experience in senior care, assisted living, or home & community care settings, with a strong commitment to enhancing residents' quality of life through personalized assistance and compassionate caregiving.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Provide medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitor vital signs and report any health concerns promptly
  • Support residents with dementia or memory care needs using specialized techniques
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
  • Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and other mobility aids safely
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks
  • Document resident care activities accurately using EMR systems
  • Support residents' social engagement and participate in recreational activities
  • Follow all safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency response plans

Experience

  • Prior experience in long-term care, assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral management needs is a plus
  • Knowledge of Alzheimer's and dementia care techniques highly desirable
  • Familiarity with medication administration and vital signs monitoring required
  • Previous caregiving experience involving personal care home or group home settings is advantageous
  • Ability to operate EMR systems efficiently and maintain accurate documentation
  • Valid driver’s license for driving residents or transportation duties preferred but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
