Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home community care. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient monitoring and assisting with daily activities, ensuring a safe and clean environment for those in their care. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering both physical and emotional support.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Monitor and document patients' health status, including any changes or concerns.
- Support clients with mobility needs, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Administer CPR and first aid as needed; ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
- Provide direct support for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing homes or assisted living is preferred.
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid certification is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and home community care practices is advantageous.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
