Position Summary
The Reentry Case Manager provides individualized case management and facilitates evidence-based programming for women at the Community Reintegration Center (CRC) and in the community post-release. This role supports clients in developing and implementing personalized reentry plans, accessing resources, and reconnecting with supportive networks. The ideal candidate is passionate about justice reform, experienced in trauma-informed care, and committed to empowering women through a strengths-based approach.
Responsibilities
On-site Reentry Planning & Programming (65%)
- Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized service plans
- Facilitate weekly psychoeducational groups (e.g., Moving On, Seeking Safety)
- Provide case management and support throughout clients’ time at CRC
- Coordinate with internal and external service providers
- Track progress and maintain accurate documentation
Community-Based Reentry Services (25%)
- Create post-release Reentry Plans addressing basic needs
- Assist with transportation and initial community connections
- Provide intensive case management post-release
- Collaborate with Benedict Center staff and community agencies
Teamwork & Professional Development (10%)
- Attend staff meetings and trainings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ year experience working with justice-involved women (preferred)
- Training in Trauma-Informed Care and Motivational Interviewing (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
- Must pass WI Caregiver Background Check
Skills and Abilities

- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and group facilitation skills
- Cultural competence and respect for diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of gender-responsive, evidence-based practices
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, databases, and Excel
- Sound judgment and de-escalation skills
Work Environment
- On-site at CRC and in community settings
- May involve transporting clients and attending off-site meetings·
- Role requires walking through large facility.
- Must be able to lift up to 20lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
