Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers by handling cash, processing payments, and assisting with sales.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions efficiently.
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with accuracy.
Maintain an organized and clean checkout area.
Assist customers with product inquiries and provide information on promotions or sales.
Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during busy periods.
Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate change is given to customers.
Support technology sales by promoting relevant products during checkout.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing accurate change.
Time management abilities to handle peak hours efficiently.
Experience with cash handling and cashiering processes.
Familiarity with POS systems for processing sales transactions.
Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base.
Knowledge of technology sales is advantageous for promoting related products.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
