We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistant to provide excellent service and contribute to a top-notch catering experience, hosted at Invercargill. In this role, you'll greet customers, assist with event setups, and ensure a seamless service by delivering food and beverages in a professional and timely manner. You’ll also ensure customer areas and event spaces are always clean, tidy, and well-presented, providing a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Your responsibilities will include delivering catering services across campus, maintaining high standards for food presentation, setting up and clearing tables, and assisting with catering deliveries. You’ll also ensure cleanliness in workspaces, assist with kitchen tidiness, and follow strict food safety and health regulations.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about food, enjoys practical work, and thrives in a team environment. If you are reliable, punctual, and have excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Must hold a full, clean New Zealand driver’s license
• Must be able to work weekends
• Prior experience in kitchen or front-of-house roles preferred
• Hospitality-related qualifications are a plus (National Certificates in Hospitality)
