We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Catering Manager to oversee all aspects of catering operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food service, and exceptional customer service abilities. This role involves managing catering events, supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering an outstanding experience for clients. The Catering Manager will play a vital role in coordinating food preparation, managing team members, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and food quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily catering operations, including event planning and execution
• Supervise and lead catering staff, including training, and scheduling team members
• Coordinate food preparation and cooking to meet client specifications and quality standards
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Maintain high levels of customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage kitchen stock efficiently
• Supervise food presentation and ensure all dishes meet aesthetic standards
• Lead by example in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety within the kitchen and service areas

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality industry roles such as hotel or restaurant experience
• Supervising experience with a track record of effective team management and leadership skills
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse client needs professionally
• Experience in food handling, serving, and managing restaurant or catering operations
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Previous experience managing a team is preferred
• Knowledge of the food industry trends, kitchen experience, and hospitality best practices are advantageous
• Leadership qualities combined with effective communication skills to motivate staff and ensure smooth operations
