We are now looking for an experienced and motivated Centre Manager to join our team and lead one of our premier Dublin centres.

Role Summary

  • The Centre Manager will oversee the day-to-day success of the venue, ensuring smooth operations, outstanding coaching standards, and a strong customer experience. You’ll manage staff, drive membership growth and retention, and uphold Olympian Gymnastics’ values.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Venue Management

  • Oversee all daily operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality delivery at the centre.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety standards are upheld and that all staff adhere to compliance protocols.
  • Implement and maintain Olympian’s Centre Operations Manual and best practices.
  • Helping manage schedules and staff rosters and workflows
  • Ensure the centre is adequately staffed
  • Work closely with central admin teams to streamline processes and reduce unnecessary admin workload on site staff.
  • Contribute ideas to support centre growth, programme improvements, and local partnerships.

Staff Leadership & Development

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the coaching team, including Senior Coaching Team Staff Members and Lead Coaches.
  • Conduct regular staff check-ins, coaching observations, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding in coordination with senior management and HR.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and supportive team culture.
  • Champion staff training, welfare, and development opportunities.

Coaching & Programme Oversight

  • Ensure high-quality delivery of Olympians gymnastics programmes in line with Olympian’s ethos.
  • Mentor Senior Coaching Team staff to maintain coaching consistency and safety standards.
  • Coach classes as needed.
  • Monitor class quality, gymnast feedback, and coach performance, providing guidance and support.

Customer Experience & Community Engagement

  • Be the primary point of contact for parents, members, and key community stakeholders.
  • Handle escalated customer queries or feedback professionally and efficiently.
  • Build strong relationships with members, parents, and the local community to support retention and engagement.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to projects and initiatives aimed at improving systems, processes, and overall centre performance.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve operations, coaching, and customer service.
  • Stay up to date on industry best practices and trends.

Key Requirements

  • Sports coaching: 4 years (preferred)
  • Management: 1 year (preferred)
  • Recognised coaching qualifications in sports (such as swimming, athletics, etc.).
  • Ideally, you will hold a gymnastics coaching qualification (Level 2 or Level 3), but if you don’t—no problem! Coaching qualifications can be provided through our educational partners.
  • Experience in a leadership role within a sports club, leisure centre, or coaching environment.
  • Experience managing staff, schedules, and daily venue operations.
  • Strong understanding of coaching methodologies, safety protocols, and best practices.
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital tools like CRM systems or scheduling software is an advantage but not essential.

  • Confident and able to liaise with parents and members.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to lead and manage groups of children from early years through to teens, ensuring age-appropriate instruction, safety, and enjoyment.
  • Skilled in adjusting coaching techniques and group management strategies to suit varying developmental stages and learning styles.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €36,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
