Certified Dental Assistant (Level 2) – Georgian Mall Family Dental

Job Title: Certified Dental Assistant – Level 2 (CDA Level 2)

Location: Georgian Mall Family Dental

Schedule: Full-time; must be available to work evenings and weekends

About Us Georgian Mall Family Dental, part of the LivBRITE Dental Group, is a busy, patient-focused practice dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a warm and welcoming environment. We're looking for a Level 2 CDA who's ready to hit the ground running and become an integral part of our clinical team.

About the Role We're seeking an organized, proactive Certified Dental Assistant (Level 2) to provide chairside support and help deliver a smooth, high-quality patient experience. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in maintaining a well-run, efficient clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide chairside assisting for a variety of dental procedures
  • Take and process dental x-rays
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories according to infection control standards
  • Coronal polishing and other Level 2-scope duties as required
  • Manage patient records and clinical documentation using Abeldent
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
  • Support inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
  • Coordinate with front desk and clinical staff to keep the daily schedule running efficiently
  • Identify opportunities to improve clinical workflows and take ownership of assigned duties

Requirements

  • Current CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) certification – Level 2 required
  • Previous experience working in a dental office (required)
  • Hands-on experience with Abeldent practice management software (required)
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • A self-starter who takes initiative and doesn't need to be micromanaged
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • Full-time availability, including evenings and weekends (required)

Pay: $20.70-$28.00 per hour
