Job Overview
Position: Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Clarkston WA 99403
Shift: 4 on, 2 off, 8 hour shifts 2:30pm - 10:30pm
Facility Type: Long term Care
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
- Take and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with accuracy and attention to detail
- Support medical procedures by preparing patients and assisting with tasks like catheter care, wound care, or medication administration under supervision
- Maintain patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensuring proper documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Observe and report changes in patient condition or behavior promptly to nursing staff using clear, detailed communication
- Use safe lifting practices and equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer methods to assist with patient mobility safely
- Follow aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection and ensure a sterile environment
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state regulations
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS/CPR) techniques

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
