Work alongside of multiple agencies and organizations to assist in Mental Health Services Programs/Open Arms Drop-In Center located in Waynesburg, PA. Promote the independence, employment, wellness management and the rehabilitation of persons with mental health disabilities through demonstrating good work habits, skills and behaviors while engaged in the CPS program location and throughout the community as assigned. Must have a flexible schedule in order to meet the needs of the individuals served.
Qualifications:
- Attest to having a mental health diagnosis and have reached a place in your recovery where you can support others
- Completion of the Department-approved Certified Peer Specialist Training
- High school diploma/GED
- Work experience in mental health field preferred
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record for at least three years
- Pre-employment physical and bi-annual physical thereafter
