Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook with leadership qualities to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, exceptional kitchen management skills, and experience in fine dining or catering environments. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. The successful candidate will contribute to creating an outstanding dining experience for our guests and support the overall success of ouu operation

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing to ensure quality and freshness
  • Oversee food production, ensuring timely delivery of dishes during service hours
  • Manage inventory control, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing leadership and training to ensure efficient workflow
  • Monitor food safety practices, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
  • Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Assist in catering events and special functions as required
  • Support kitchen management in shift scheduling and operational tasks

Experience

  • Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or catering setting, preferably with fine dining or banquet experience
  • Supervising or team management experience is highly desirable
  • Background in dietary departments or food service management is a plus
  • Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food safety standards and inventory management
  • Experience in menu planning, kitchen management, and food industry operations
  • Familiarity with hospitality standards, catering services, and restaurant experience is advantageous
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of food handling, cooking techniques, and inventory control processes
