What We’re Looking For?

The ideal candidate will bring experience from a similar environment, as well as a strong culinary background, alongside safety, and compliance skills. The individual will be focused on quality and consistent execution of the food program.

Reports to Executive Chef

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute dishes in your assigned section with precision and consistency.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and plating guidelines.
  • Ensure proper hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards are upheld at all times.
  • Assist with training and mentoring junior staff and apprentices.
  • Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal specials.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a professional kitchen (fine dining or upscale casual preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Passion for food, creativity, and continuous learning.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

  • Cooking: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Handler Certification (preferred)
