Sodexo
is seeking a Chef Manager to support all culinary operations at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital located in Elkin, North Carolina. Hugh Chatham Health operates as an 81 bed acute care hospital. The facility is a non-profit community health care network serving the Yadkin Valley region and recently joined Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.
What You'll Do:

The ideal candidate has:

  • a strong culinary background, with a passion for food and innovation;
  • prior experience working with a contract management company;
  • strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to coach, mentor and engage the frontline culinary team;
  • previous experience working in a high-volume facility;
  • strong management skills, and;
  • a knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS).

What You Bring:
  • Provides culinary leadership within a small sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training.
  • Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution
  • Executes the culinary function
  • Customer & Client satisfaction
  • Manages food & physical safety program.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
