Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. You will play a vital role in their early education and development, focusing on fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.
- Provide high-quality care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents regarding their development.
- Engage children in educational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social skills.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians to discuss children's needs and progress.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in child care settings such as babysitting, nannying, or as a caregiver is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential.
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
- Ability to provide infant care as well as care for toddlers and preschool-aged children.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing attitude with a genuine love for working with children.
- Relevant certifications or training in early childhood education or related fields are desirable.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
