Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Worker to join our team, committed to fostering a safe and nurturing environment for children of all ages. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young lives. (Great part-time opportunity for college students)

Seeking candidates for 1-2 Thursday evenings per month from 6:15pm - approx 8:30pm. You are able to arrive early (5:45pm) to enjoy a free dinner. Criminal Background checks will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs or disabilities.
• Ensure the safety of children at all times by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.
• Support classroom routines such as snack times, diaper changes, and play.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians as necessary.
• Assist with behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and developmentally appropriate conduct.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or youth programs
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued
• Demonstrated patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for working with young children

Pay: $50.00 per day
