Duties and Responsibilities:

To take day to day responsibility for children
To work to high standards of care
Ensure a good standard of hygiene
Attend meetings and undertake training as required
Adhere to Child Protection Policy of the service and report any concerns
To develop ongoing positive relationships with parents
Attend regular staff meetings
Be able to take charge and direct children in case of an emergency
Maintain strict confidentiality, any breach of confidentiality about children or their families will constitute gross misconduct
Perform any other reasonable duties that may be assigned from time to time

Person Specifications

Minimum 1 year’s work experience in a similar role.
English Intermediate or Higher level. (spoken and written)
Ability to work on their own initiative.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Food Safety (training will be provided if you do not have it).
Manual Handling (training will be provided if you do not have it).
Fire Safety (training will be provided if you do not have it).
Complete Garda Vetting (will be arranged by us).
Drive Licence is desirable.
