About Us

Threestones Alliance Inc. is a growing Alberta-based contractor specializing in exterior envelope construction — including cladding systems such as siding, EIFS, stucco, and stone veneer. Founded by tradespeople for tradespeople, we value leadership, craftsmanship, safety, and a collaborative team culture.

We are currently seeking an experienced Cladding Supervisor to lead our site crews and oversee the successful installation of exterior cladding systems on both residential and commercial construction projects across Alberta.

Position Overview

As a Cladding Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing on-site operations for all cladding-related activities. This includes hands-on leadership of a team of installers, ensuring that all work is performed to industry standards for quality, efficiency, and safety. This role requires strong technical knowledge of various cladding systems (vinyl, fiber cement, metal, composite panels, etc.) and the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead on-site cladding installation crews
  • Plan daily work activities and delegate tasks based on crew skill sets and project timelines
  • Interpret and apply construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
  • Oversee installation of all types of cladding systems: vinyl, fiber cement, wood, metal panels, ACM, and others
  • Ensure proper integration of weather-resistant barriers (WRBs), flashing, trims, and fasteners
  • Conduct site safety meetings and enforce compliance with OHS and company safety protocols
  • Monitor work quality and adherence to building codes, specifications, and manufacturer guidelines
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to coordinate site activities
  • Track crew hours, daily progress, and material usage
  • Train and mentor junior installers in cladding techniques and site safety practices
  • Troubleshoot installation or material issues on-site in a timely manner
  • Represent Threestones in a professional manner when dealing with clients, site supervisors, and inspectors

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in cladding system installation (siding, panels, etc.)
  • Minimum 2 years of site supervision or foreman-level experience in construction
  • Proficient knowledge of building envelopes, WRBs, furring, rainscreens, trims, and cladding attachment systems
  • Familiar with both traditional and modern cladding materials and techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
  • Valid Fall Protection and WHMIS certifications (CSTS an asset)
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Physically able to work at heights and in changing weather conditions
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Basic proficiency in English (spoken and written)

Work Conditions

  • Outdoor, fast-paced construction sites
  • Physical labor: standing, climbing, lifting, bending for extended periods
  • Year-round exposure to variable weather
  • High responsibility, multitasking, and time management required

What We Offer

  • Competitive wages with opportunities for raises and performance bonuses
  • Extended health and dental benefits
  • Life insurance
  • Stable, year-round work across Alberta
  • Team events and a supportive multicultural work environment
  • Opportunities to grow into senior leadership or project management roles
