Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Operations

  • Supervise cleaning staff across multiple sites, ensuring duties are completed to the highest standard.
  • Schedule and monitor staff attendance; reassign staff as necessary to cover absences.
  • Evaluate cleaning performance and provide on-the-job support, coaching, and corrective guidance.
  • Assist with hands-on cleaning tasks when required.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison between site clients and cleaning teams.
  • Ensure client requirements are met promptly and effectively, maintaining high service satisfaction.

Training and Development

  • Instruct staff on the proper use of cleaning equipment and materials.
  • Promote continuous learning and compliance with company protocols and safety standards.

Inventory and Supplies

  • Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and PPE.
  • Implement timely reordering processes to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Health, Safety, and Compliance

  • Champion and enforce all relevant health and safety regulations (e.g., Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005).
  • Maintain a hazard-free environment and ensure all incidents are reported accurately.
  • Uphold hygiene, PPE, and fire safety procedures consistently across all sites.

  • Willingness to take initiative and be hands-on when needed.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory experience in cleaning or facilities management.
  • Familiarity with cleaning protocols, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality service delivery across our client sites. You are not just managing cleaning operations—you are upholding the reputation and standards of Domestic and General in environments where cleanliness directly impacts client satisfaction, safety, and well-being.

You will drive operational excellence by coordinating and supporting cleaning teams, implementing best practices, and ensuring that all services meet or exceed client expectations. This role directly contributes to creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments for tenants, visitors, and staff.
