We are looking to hire positive, hardworking individuals immediately for up to 20 hours/week. We are flexible and willing to work with schedules, to train you, and remunerate you fairly, giving bonuses and commissions when earned. Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 35lbs, work with residential and commercial cleansers, detergents, disinfectants, soaps, strippers, sealants, shampoos, etc. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, bend or kneel, stand on ladders, raise arms above head, push, pull, or carry vacuum, ladders, buffers, waste bins, or other equipment. Work outdoors as required, and walk up and down stairs.

Personnel Requirements:

Must be able to work assigned shifts, including evenings and weekends if required. Must be punctual, able to read write and clearly speak English. Must be able to follow directions, problem solve, work well with others, and work with and without supervision as required. Will be required to travel within Waterloo Region, access to reliable transportation necessary. A recent police check for employment purposes will be required upon hire. GHS training (formerly WHIMS), Ladder Safety Training, and WSIB Safety training will be provided as needed.

Tasks:

You will be required to sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and stairs as applicable. You will clean and polish restrooms including toilets, urinals, sinks and vanities, and shower/tubs. You will dust and spot-clean walls and window ledges, dust and polish furniture, remove and replace paper products and fill soap dispensers. Empty garbage, recyclables, green bin contents, and biohazard containers and replace liners as required. Clean interior and exterior windows and doors, and sanitize telephones and touchpoints (switches, door plates, handrails, door knobs, etc.). Clean kitchenettes including sinks and small appliances and exterior cabinet doors. We use nontoxic cleaning products and effective tools for our duties.

As a full service cleaning company, you may be required to shampoo furniture and carpet, use floor scrubbing machines and carpet extractors, or assist with stripping/waxing floors, tile cleaning and grout sealing. This list is not complete, and may be added to as jobs require.
