Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong commitment to quality service, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage time efficiently while performing custodial tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, bathrooms and kitchens in commercial and residential settings.
• Utilize tools as necessary for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in good working condition.
• Execute heavy lifting when required to move furniture or equipment during cleaning processes.
• Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and operating machinery.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience or commercial cleaning background is preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in cleaning and maintenance tasks is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within scheduled shifts.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed throughout the workday.

Must Haves

• Drivers license and unfettered access to a reliable vehicle
• Ability to speak and understand spoken and written english
• Availability from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm at minimum

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
