Client Director
Passionate about our mission and values at Human8, based in our Ghent or Rotterdam office, the Client Director leads the commercial development and project delivery for several key accounts of which at least one is generating (potential) revenues between € 500K and € 1mio.
This position plays a crucial role in persuading clients of the unparalleled value that Human8 brings to their business, using the breadth of our portfolio. Focusing on Quantitative Research in the Food & Beverage industry.
In close collaboration with clients, the Client Director navigates their unique challenges, consistently exceeding expectations and delivering a service that exemplifies excellence. Leveraging profound industry knowledge, the Client Director cultivates enduring partnerships, offering clients actionable and advanced marketing recommendations that significantly influence their decision-making and enhance their business outcomes.
As a collaborative team member, this position actively shares a wealth of marketing research knowledge, serving as a source of inspiration and contributing to internal knowledge transfer. Coaching skills come to the fore to motivate and guide project teams, ensuring a collective commitment to success.

Responsibilities

Revenue Generation & Business Development
  • Consistently and solidly demonstrate the ability to develop and grow strong, long-term client partnerships that result in strong revenue generation
  • Have an influencing presence internally and externally and communicate ideas in a way that persuades others to buy-in and take action – at all levels of the client organization
  • Nurture account development by creating winning proposals and pitches, and continuously listening for additional client needs
  • Know clients’ businesses, as well as objectives, and offer value-added consulting to help them understand and activate on customer-centric strategies, using the full breadth of our portfolio
  • Understand the clients' internal structure and translate this into actionable account plans across all DMU's to maximize growth across the account (upsell & cross-sell)
  • Foster strong client loyalty through the demonstration of exceptional engagement execution and client service skills
Client Services
  • Oversee and execute on key client projects focused on consumer insights, transformation, customer/employee experience, and brand/marketing strategy, while seamlessly working across topics and accounts
  • Provide continual strategic thinking and added value to clients and internal execution teams to ensure that we answer the client’s business challenge and helping to move the client organization forward
  • Deliver strategic, influential presentations and other forms of client communications for audiences from front-line to executives
  • Plan, design, and facilitate multi-disciplinary client workshops
  • Foster collaboration with multiple capabilities at Human8, weaving appropriate competencies together for a cohesive result
Organizational Leadership
  • Internally lead and coordinate teams across projects, which will include managing resource across the account, coach people towards best-in-class delivery, lead by example on building client relationships, ...
  • Advise project managers and other team members on how to navigate through project planning and execution (e.g., provide guidance on how to structure a project, review project deliverables for their ability to address client challenges)

Qualifications

  • Strong relationship builder with senior client stakeholders – directly managing key senior client relationships and working closely with them on a daily basis.
  • See all the angles to best position our platform to fit a clients' project needs.
  • Natural problem solver and trusted advisor to clients, never shy of presenting a point of view to deliver on client objectives.
  • Set the gold standard for top account management in collaboration with a Global Account Partner where applicable.
  • Excellent performer and companywide example in account relationship management and consistently deliver strong delivery performance.
  • Recognized as a go-to person for specific research / business / industry expertise.
  • An excellent communicator, both internally and externally, inspiring audiences and building engagement.
  • Collaborative to the core. Recognizes the value and importance of culture in creating a business that inspires people to thrive, respects the value of teamwork within the wider business, Human8 and across the external collaborator network, and builds client loyalty through the delivery of exceptional work.

  • Strong knowledge of Quantitative Research
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
  • Must be willing to come in 3 days/week (with flexibility)
