We are seeking an experienced Clinical Director to lead and oversee clinical operations within our medical device company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical research, regulatory affairs, and healthcare management, with a focus on medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the clinical operations team to ensure the successful execution of clinical trials and studies.
- Responsible for Studies and Regulations in many countries including Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia, South Korea, and India.
- Develop and implement clinical strategies to support product development and regulatory submissions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for clinical research.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, regulatory affairs, and marketing, to drive clinical initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate clinical performance metrics to ensure the achievement of organizational goals.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing to optimize operational efficiency.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to clinical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance clinical processes and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical Research, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical operations or healthcare management, with a focus on medical devices.
- Proven track record of leadership and team management in a clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the medical device industry.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in clinical research software and tools.
