JD – Cloud Architect / Principal
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives
- Define and own the overall cloud architecture strategy, aligned with Well-Architected Framework principles.
- Design highly available, scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions, including integration frameworks.
- Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to ensure architectural decisions align with strategic objectives.
- Drive optimization of cloud cost, performance, and reliability.
- Lead architecture and solution design reviews; guide implementation of complex systems across multi-cloud environments.
- Mentor architects and senior engineers to strengthen internal architecture capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in architecture-focused roles.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native services across major CSPs (Azure, AWS, and GCP).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Strong expertise in integration patterns within multi-cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional-level cloud certification in one or more CSPs (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with FinOps and/or Cloud governance.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.).
