Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and fabrication, with experience operating CNC machinery and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Machining Granite Countertops.

Duties

  • Operate and monitor CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other CNC equipment to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
  • Operate Forklift

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining operations required.
  • Program CNC machines using Fanuc controls and CAM programming software.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other tools to ensure accuracy of machined parts.
  • Perform quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain standards.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
  • Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient production flow.
  • Handle materials safely and efficiently, including packaging finished products for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing facility.
  • Proficiency with CNC programming, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and blueprint reading.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and various types of machinery including stamping presses, press brake
  • Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
  • Strong math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Previous factory or warehouse experience is preferred; materials handling knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is advantageous.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
