Job Description

Coast to Coast Contents Cleaning and Packouts is a growing contents restoration company serving homeowners and insurance partners after fire, water, mold, and storm losses. We are seeking a Collections & Billing Specialist to manage final invoicing and follow up on outstanding balances once work has been completed.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, confident on the phone, and comfortable having professional payment-related conversations. Industry experience is not required — we provide training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue final invoices after job completion
• Review job files to ensure all billable services are included
• Follow up with insurance carriers, contractors, and homeowners regarding payment status
• Track accounts receivable and document collection efforts
• Communicate professionally via phone and email regarding billing questions
• Work closely with estimators, operations, and management to resolve billing issues
• Maintain accurate notes and records in company systems
• Assist with escalation processes when needed (training provided)

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable making outbound phone calls and sending follow-up emails
• Professional and respectful communication style
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn company software
• Experience in billing, collections, accounting, or office administration is a plus but not required
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
