About this opportunity

As a Collections Officer, you’ll be instrumental in managing a portfolio of accounts that have fallen into arrears. You’ll provide exceptional service to our customers by identifying their needs and providing solutions early in the process, to promptly resolve any outstanding balances. Your goal will be to deliver the best possible outcomes for both SilverChef and our customers, ultimately impacting our company’s success as well as customer satisfaction

In this role you will:
Engage with customers in arrears to swiftly resolve outstanding balances.
Apply consistent business acumen and confident communication skills to promptly address overdue accounts.
Ensure that SilverChef debt processes are adhered to and take timely and effective action on accounts assigned.
Keep management informed and up to date, flagging any potential risks likely to have a significant financial impact on the arrears portfolio/business.

What you’ll need to succeed

Experience within a collections role or customer service role.
An effective communicator that has the ability to relate to customers and other stakeholders, both internal and external.
High level of analytical skills and attention to detail.
A desire to pursue continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
