Your opportunity:

The Commercial Manager is a pivotal and strategic role in the Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) team, responsible for translating data into actionable insights, identifying key trends that underpin decision-making, analysing commercial opportunities and risks and communicating these clearly to stakeholders. This function is accountable for helping to reduce churn and drive growth across the customer lifecycle, protecting revenue and growing customer lifetime value (CLV).

You'll make impact by:

• Monitor product churn, track market conditions and recognise patterns that can influence service disconnections

• Use analysis and business knowledge to identify trends and opportunities that help demonstrate the impacts to our key metrics; churn, upgrades and revenue

• Monitor and report on retention metrics and health of the customer base to evaluate the effectiveness of key strategies

• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting initiatives to support initiatives, projects and yearly budgeting processes

• Strong collaboration and alignment with stakeholder groups, including Product, Finance and Channels to prioritise the approval, arbitration and presentation of retention programs to at-risk customers

• Identify data-driven opportunities to conduct experiments that can result in profitable commercial outcomes ensuring initiatives can be scalable in the short term

• E valuate the success of initiatives, return on investment (ROI) and improvements for any subsequent activity

• Support in the development of business cases, financial modelling, and commercial analysis in relation to key projects and growth opportunities

• Possess excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills

• Support ad hoc projects of a similar nature from portfolios other than your own

• Adhere to TPG Telecom Limited policies and procedures as introduced and varied from time to time
  

What you’ll bring:

• Degree qualified (ideally in commerce, business or economics)

• 3+ years’ experience working with data

• Strong commercial and business acumen

• Exceptional analytical skills with abilities to develop forecasting and commercial models

• Expert Excel skills and previous experience in SQL / Power BI

• Outstanding influencing skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication

• Experience working in an Agile framework and use of Jira and Confluence would be beneficial
