Commissioning Engineer

Are you driven by hands-on engineering tasks and modern rail technology? We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Commissioning Engineer to join our team of experts at client premises in Helsinki. You’ll work directly with SR3 electric locomotives and railway automation systems—handling maintenance, modifications, and commissioning tasks. Travel to other project sites in Finland might also be occasionally needed.

What you will do:

maintain and modify SR3 electric locomotives
troubleshoot, repair, test, and commission systems—both electrical and mechanical work
plan tasks and materials independently and efficiently

What we are looking for:

degree in electrical or automation engineering—or equivalent work experience
at least three years of relevant work experience
proactive, hands-on mindset with strong teamwork and customer focus
can communicate in Finnish and English in a work context

Bonus points for these skills:

experience in industrial installations
background in rail transport or rolling stock maintenance
