Introduction:
Communications & Engagement Coordinator
Location: Melbourne
Employment type: Permanent Full Time
Salary: $106,764 - $113,249 base plus 12% superannuation and salary packaging

Description:
About the role
You will drive strategic communications and engagement for an inner-city social housing precinct, shaping initiatives that build trust, strengthen partnerships, and deliver meaningful outcomes for residents.
Deliver engagement initiatives aligned to Housing Choices’ placemaking strategy
Build collaborative partnerships with government, community groups and services
Plan, deliver and evaluate engagement initiatives.
Support resident voice strategies and ensure lived experience informs outcomes
Skills and Experiences:
About you
This role is ideal for someone who excels at stakeholder engagement, managing priorities, and leading projects that improve community outcomes.
You’ll bring:
Qualifications in community development, communications or related field, or equivalent experience
Experience delivering engagement, placemaking or community-focused projects
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
A passion for creating safe, inclusive and connected communities
You must agree to undergo any required employment screening, including but not limited to a National Criminal History or Police Check, Working with Children or Vulnerable Persons Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
