Overview:

This job consists of overseeing the daily maintenance and operations of a condominium complex. The daily, weekly, monthly chores, the preventative maintenance. Watch for the integrity of property and demonstrate supervisory capacity. Maintains a positive work environment, sustain relationships with residents, management and staff in general. Skills and competencies

• Knowledge in the field for more than 2 years is preferred.
• Basic Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical and the ability to anticipate and detect problems and the skills to perform small repairs.
• Basic computer knowledge, smart phone, condo control application and effective command of the English language, oral and written.
• Being able to assist and Supervise the work of contractors, technicians and staff..
• Receptive to change- can adapt to changing circumstances and deal effectively with stressful and emergency situations.
• Respects diversity- treats others with respect, understands others and avoids unnecessary conflicts.
• Being Physically fit, able to endure long walks throughout the Building, carrying supplies, reaching, bending, stretching, and climbing ladders.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections and litter pick up throughout the property, including all exterior grounds, common areas, mechanical rooms and stairs.
• Coordinate and perform general maintenance and minor repairs
• Monitor building systems (heating, cooling, fire alarm, elevators) and report issues promptly to the property managers.
• Supervise contractors and ensure work is completed properly
• Inspect the cleanliness of common areas and ensure janitorial standards are met
• Handle garbage collection and recycling management
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire code regulations
• Maintain maintenance logs and incident reports
• Clean and sanitize garbage and recycling rooms, including compactor rooms
• Other duties on demand or seasonal.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
