OVERVIEW

EF Management is a growth-minded company that prioritizes company culture, core values, and investing in our people. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to grow with us as we expand our apartment complex portfolio. This role oversees multi family construction renovation projects. This is a field-based role focused on coordinating independent contractors, not managing direct employees. You will have flexibility in how you organize your day-to-day schedule, while working closely with the Director of Construction with an emphasis on meeting deadlines and budgetary constraints. You will typically oversee up to 100 individual project scopes within a single apartment complex at any given time. You will report directly to the Director of Construction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedule contractor crews based on timetables developed in coordination with the Director of Construction
• Ensure all project deadlines are met
• Coordinate and manage multiple trades working concurrently on a single project
• Ensure contractors execute the full scope of work to required quality standards
• Confirm completed work meets quality standards prior to handoff to the property management team
• Ensure contractors adhere to job site safety standards and protocols throughout each renovation.

YOU

• Minimum 5 years of relevant project management or construction coordination experience
• Proficiency with construction CRMs such as JobTread or BuilderTrend
• Strong understanding of scheduling and project management principles
• Proven ability to organize and manage crews across different trades concurrently on one project
• Adaptability: ability to manage unforeseen issues as they arise on active job sites
• Strong communication skills, including proficiency updating CRMs and budgeting software to keep the team aligned
• Comfortable working in the field coordinating crews with minimal office time (occasional visits for meetings and coordination)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Base: $60,000–$75,000, depending on experience.
• Benefits: Health, vision, and dental insurance; 401k; PTO; sick time.
• Location: In office and in the field across Norfolk, Ocean View, and Portsmouth.
• Reliable vehicle required.

EF Management is part of a vertically integrated real estate company: EF Capital buys the properties, ConstructTech renovates them, and EF Management runs them. We focus on value-add multifamily in Hampton Roads.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
