We are seeking a Construction Quality Engineer to join our team in Galway.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in quality assurance or construction site management roles.
Skills:
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Commitment to continuous improvement and procedural enhancement.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in quality management tools, Microsoft Office, and surveying equipment.
Certifications: ISO 9001 knowledge or Lead Auditor Certification is an advantage.
Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Oversight
Ensure on-site compliance with the Quality Policy and project specifications.
Conduct routine inspections and audits to uphold superior quality standards in materials, workmanship, and processes.
Evaluate subcontractor performance to ensure their work meets established quality and safety requirements.
Address and resolve quality issues promptly while implementing corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
Team Mentorship & Development
Mentor and provide technical guidance to site engineers, fostering their growth in quality standards and best practices.
Facilitate hands-on training and encourage continuous learning within the team.
Cultivate a positive, knowledge-sharing culture on-site.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare, maintain, and update project documentation, including quality control records, progress reports, and plant requirements.
Ensure all documentation meets the company’s quality management standards and deadlines.
Process Improvement
Identify areas for procedural enhancements and implement innovative solutions aligned with industry best practices.
Collaborate with leadership to refine and optimize workflows for maximum efficiency.
Collaboration & Communication
Assist Project Managers in the design and regular checks of temporary works to ensure compliance and safety.
Foster strong working relationships with subcontractors and internal teams to achieve project goals collaboratively.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €42,946.46-€68,182.57 per year
