Job Description:
We are seeking a Skilled Construction Laborer with hands-on experience in self-leveling floor applications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare substrates and surfaces for self-leveling applications
- Mix and apply self-leveling compounds according to product specifications
- Operate and maintain tools/equipment (mixers, pumps, trowels, etc.)
- Ensure accurate surface leveling and proper material usage
- Keep work area clean and follow safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with the site supervisor and crew
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience with self-leveling floors or similar concrete work
- Familiarity with products like Ardex, Mapei, etc.
- Physically fit; able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Punctual, professional, and safety-conscious
- WHMIS, Working at Heights, or other safety certifications are an asset
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: $24.00 per hour
