You are comfortable working independently, managing data and routine/detail-oriented tasks effectively, as well as collaboratively as part of a diverse cross-functional team. You communicate confidently with diverse stakeholders, thrive in a high-energy entrepreneurial environment and bring an enthusiasm for books and digital entertainment that aligns with our mission.

This position is initially open through a 24-month contract.

As a Contract and Rights Specialist, you will...
  • Be a subject matter expert on deal implementation
  • Coordinate contract execution, digitally file completed contracts, and enter/maintain terms in Audible’s contract database
  • Onboard new providers, request upfront payments, and kick off contractually required next steps downstream
  • Partner with Audible’s Legal, Business Affairs, Finance, and Catalog Operations Teams to align on and execute operational plans for new deals, partnerships, initiatives and contract changes
  • Review and validate contract and royalty data against deal terms prior to each period close
  • Create reports to support content operations and inform business decisions
  • Provide general support for the Business Affairs & Content Operations Team, including data clean-up projects, ad hoc research, inquiry response and trouble tickets
  • Drive continuous improvement to systems and processes, leveraging root cause analysis, emerging technologies and cross-functional collaboration
