Schedule: Monday - Friday
Business Development Account Manager at MGM Products Inc. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Contract Manufacturing and play a key role in supporting business growth, managing client accounts, and ensuring seamless operations and communication between departments.
This position requires a strong blend of client relationship management, operational coordination, and a keen understanding of production capabilities and market opportunities. You will act as a liaison between our clients and our internal teams to drive customer satisfaction, account expansion, and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the manufacturing sector
- Support quoting, contract negotiations, and proposal development
- Coordinate internal schedules, meetings, and project timelines to align with client needs
- Track and analyze customer orders, production status, and delivery metrics
- Assist with the onboarding and training of new clients and staff related to account needs
- Maintain accurate account records, pricing structures, and service agreements
- Work closely with plant and operations teams to ensure deliverables meet customer expectations
- Monitor and report on KPIs and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and client satisfaction
- Represent MGM Products at industry events and client meetings, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in business development, account management, or operations-preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain fundamentals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with a proactive mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with CRM systems or ERP tools is a plus
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or industrial safety practices is advantageous
