Hiring Part-Time Cook
Responsibilities:
- Preparing fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu
- Cook food (appetizers / tempura / teriyaki etc.) in a timely manner
- Able to create the best quality dishes in a fast-paced environment
- Ensuring quality checks of dishes are up to restaurant standard
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation
- Maintaining a positive and professional work environment
- Monitor food stock, as needed
- Other duties may be assigned
- Be punctual
Qualifications:
- MUST hold a valid work permit in Canada
- Experience at Japanese restaurant is an asset
- Understanding various cooking techniques required for Japanese food
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- A passion for Japanese and Asian culinary art and flavours
- Able to communicate in English or Korean
- Food Safe is an asset
- Reliable shift availabilities
Salary:
- from $18/hr + depending on experience
- Tips, overtime pay
Flexible shift schedules are available.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
