We are looking for two Cooks to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting a range of high-quality meals in a busy kitchen environment, ensuring excellent food hygiene and customer satisfaction.
- prepare, cook and present breakfast, lunch and snack menu items to Cafe standards.
- maintain food safety and hygiene practices in compliance with New Zealand Food Control Plans.
- Monitor Stock Levels and assist with ordering and inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Kitchen area, equipment and utensils.
- Follow recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.
- adapt dishes for dietary requirements and ensure allergen awareness.
- Assist in daily developing daily specials and updating the menu as needed.
- Collaborate with Front-of-House staff to ensure timely service.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
- two years of experience OR Level 4 qualification.
