About the role

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) are seeking a Workplace Coordinator to join the Corporate Services Group. This is a full time, permanent position, based at our Queenstown Airport location. You will be responsible for providing effective and efficient workplace support for the local team and across our lower South Island locations, with a strong focus on providing exceptional workplace experiences for our people.

The salary band for this position goes from $58,658. to $80,690. with the mid-range being $71,119. Starting salaries will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both, within the immediate team and in the broader Authority for the same or similar roles.

What we're looking for

You will have well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders in a confident and customer-oriented manner. You will be highly motivated, with the ability to work under minimal supervision and excellent decision-making skills to handle change and re-prioritise work.

You should also bring:

  • Experience coordinating workplaces, along with facilities management, and administrative support.

  • Experience in front-of-house support services in a corporate or hospitality environment, creating seamless experiences for colleagues and customers.

  • A focus on quality and systems, looking for system and process improvements.

  • Excellent networking and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with a broad range of people.

  • Competency with the Microsoft Office suite and ideally an intermediate level of document preparation and data entry.

  • Prior experience or involvement with workplace sustainability initiatives would be advantageous

Some travel to other lower South Island region locations may be required on an ad hoc basis so a clean, full driver's licence would be advantageous.
