- Proofread and refine academic journals, scholarly articles, and book manuscripts.
- Ensure consistency with style guides (APA, AMA, Chicago, MLA, etc.).
- Collaborate with authors and editors to maintain clarity and preserve the author’s tone.
- Verification, check facts, and ensure adherence to publication standards.
- Graduate/Postgraduate in English, Journalism, Communications, or STEM (Math, Science, Engineering).
- 2–5 years of experience in copy editing or proofreading journals, books, or academic content (freshers with strong portfolios are welcome).
- Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and style guide conventions.
- Familiarity with APA, AMA, MLA, and Chicago formats; experience with reference tools preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Word (Track Changes), Google Docs (Suggestions), and PDF markup.
- Experience using copy editing tools for tagging/structuring using styles.
- Working knowledge of Math Type and XML.
- Experience using Grammarly or similar language-editing tools.
- Work from Office for full-time
- Location: Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu
