The Corporate Credit Risk unit at BBVA Milano is an integral part of the Global Risk Management – EMEA team. Its main function is to deliver best-in-class credit analysis of corporate clients, monitoring the local portfolio and ensuring the safety and soun dness of wholesale lending through risk policy management.

About the role:
As a Corporate Credit Risk Manager you will be responsible for:
Assessing the credit and financial strength of BBVA’s clients by performing fundamental credit analysis of counterparties, using both quantitative and qualitative factors.
Preparation, submission for approval and presentation at relevant Credit Committees of Financial Programs through relevant discretion processes.
Approving utilization of sanctioned limits within discretion.
Ensuring the establishment and effectiveness of credit policies and risk limits as well as compliance with risk appetite.
Supporting and providing guidance to other units within BBVA.
What are we looking for?
Previous experience and technical knowledge:
BA/BSc Finance or Business Management or any other related subject.
Demonstrable experience in credit analysis, corporate advisory, credit policies review and regulatory reporting in Banking Groups active in Retail, Private, Corporate segments and Investment Banking of at least 4 years.
Development of local credit reporting system;
Strong analytical skills, including understanding of key financ ial components (liquidity position, leverage profile, etc.) and the ability to form independent opinions on credit, recognizing emerging risks.
Solid Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills.
Understanding of banking products and sustainabilit y issues.
Languages:
Spanish and English: fluent.
Italian native speaker.
Soft-skills:
Strong inter-personal and verbal communication skills. Should be at ease in communicating with internal and external stakeholders within risk management and other divisions.
Strong organization and time management skills. Able to work under time pressure.
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
Proactive, ethical, client-oriented, out-of-the-box thinker.
