We are looking for a seasoned corporate sales professional to take ownership of the corporate and group market segments and drive measurable revenue growth across our properties.

The Opportunity

This is a senior, results-driven role for an experienced hotel sales leader who knows how to build a book of business, win negotiated corporate accounts, and convert group and event demand into booked revenue. You will own your market segments end to end — from prospecting and solicitation through proposal, contract, and flawless handoff to operations. If you have built and grown corporate, group, government, and SMERF business at a major hotel owner or operator and want a role with real ownership and upside, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Own and grow revenue across assigned market segments — corporate transient, negotiated corporate accounts, group, convention, government, SMERF, athletic, and tour.
  • Proactively solicit, qualify, and close new business while nurturing and expanding existing accounts to meet and exceed room-night, revenue, and occupancy targets.
  • Achieve established sales activity quotas, including outbound solicitation calls, site inspections, client entertainment, trade shows, and sales trips.
  • Manage the full RFP and negotiated rate process — preparing and submitting bids, negotiating corporate rate agreements, and securing annual account renewals.
  • Develop and maintain a rolling sales and marketing action plan designed to maximize revenue across all segments.
  • Build accurate forecasts, contribute to annual budgets, and provide timely, professional reporting on pipeline, production, and results.
  • Generate proposals, write and execute contracts, and manage customer correspondence with speed and precision.
  • Coordinate group room blocks and catering/events in line with brand and property standards, working closely with operations to ensure flawless execution.
  • Represent K2 Group in the local business community and at industry events to strengthen our profile and uncover new demand.
  • Partner with the General Manager and management team to set goals, shape the sales & marketing plan, and apply yield management to protect rate and grow share.
  • Maintain organized, current account files and a disciplined CRM/sales-and-catering pipeline.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of progressive hotel sales experience, ideally with a multi-property owner, operator, or management company (e.g., a national hospitality group).
  • A proven track record of exceeding room-night and revenue targets and managing a portfolio of corporate and group accounts.
  • Deep familiarity with the corporate, group, government, and SMERF segments and the full RFP / negotiated-rate cycle.
  • Hands-on experience with sales & catering, CRM, and property management systems (e.g., Opera, or similar), plus strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the confidence to lead client conversations at a senior level.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making ability, and the discipline to manage multiple accounts and deadlines independently.
  • A degree or diploma in Business, Hospitality/Hotel Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel between properties and to client sites.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
