Introduction:
Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in people’s lives? We’re seeking a dedicated psychologist, social worker or counsellor to join our Wellbeings Clinic, part of Capital Region Community Services (CRCS) for a part-time, short-term contract to provide child counselling services for school aged children in the Bungee Youth Resilience program.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
Registration as a psychologist OR eligible for membership of AASW OR eligible for membership of ACA or PACFA.
A collaborative mindset and a positive approach to team culture

CRCS is committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all young children and young people. As part of our commitment to child safeguarding, we require all employees to undergo relevant screening processes, including Working with Children Check (WWCC) and/or Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) checks and National Police Checks.

Skills and Experiences:
CRCS also requires all employees to:
Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may effect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position
Maintain full COVID-19 vaccination currency and provide evidence of their vaccinations to CRCS (sensitive information is kept private and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles) unless they are able to provide suitable evidence of a medical contraindication that prevents them from receiving this vaccine.
