Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Boom Truck Operator to join our team. You will be operating a 100’ boom National crane, mounted on a very well maintained 2022 Peterbilt 567 automatic transmission ten-wheeler. A CDL-B license is required as well as prior crane experience (Mass Hoisting License preferred but not required. You will also be tasked with our Crane Service business development and client sales/interaction. Work days are Monday through Friday, No weekends, and all major Holidays are paid.
Duties
- Operate boom trucks and cranes to lift, move, and position materials as required on construction sites.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate lifting operations effectively.
- Maintain clear communication with ground personnel using hand signals or radios during lifting operations.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and lubricating machinery.
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries on-site.
- Assist in the training of new operators on equipment operation and safety practices.
- May be required for occasional jobsite deliveries.
Skills
- Proficient in operating Cranes specifically Boom Truck Cranes.
- NCCCO or equivalent certification.
- Massachusetts Hoisting License preferred (Willing to train).
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness for precise maneuvering of machinery.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety protocols.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and site supervisors.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
