Crushing Plant Operators

Canada Fluorspar (NL) Inc. is looking for experienced and motivated Crusher Operatorsto join the mill operations team. This position is a full-time position. The Crusher Operator is a crucial position to support the successful operation of Canada Fluorspar.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and inspecting crushing equipment and systems to detect equipment malfunctions and to ensure crushing equipment is operating normally.

• Operating crushing plant equipment, monitoring performance, and ensuring all safety and environmental standards are followed.

• Reporting any deviations to plant conditions or parameters to minimize plant delays and breakdowns.

• Completing and maintaining logs and reports, ensuring accuracy in reporting of data

• Maintaining area of responsibility according to standard operating procedures

• Perform miscellaneous labor activities, ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained according to company standards

Qualifications:

• Highschool Diploma
• Minimum of two (2) years of previous crushing experience is preferred.
• Experience with mill operations is considered an asset.
• Must be able to lift 10 lbs with each hand and up to 50 lbs with both hands.
• Ability to work in loud, dusty, and/or wet environments, indoors and outdoors, around heavy equipment.
• Previous equipment training (skidsteer, telehandler etc) preferred
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Interested candidates must possess a valid driver’s license
