About the Role

Reporting to the State Manager - QLD, the Customer Service Officer – D2D/Credits role plays a key part in supporting sales and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role centres around working closely with the sales team to oversee order management, share product information, and monitor deliveries and backorders. It also includes keeping the CRM up to date, coordinating with key stakeholders, and supporting the Business Development Managers in creating marketing materials.

Your key accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Respond to customer enquiries and liaise with sales staff on pricing, products, and solutions
  • Enter and manage sales orders, delivery schedules, and backorder reporting
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth order processing
  • Support the sales team with customer service and maintain CRM data including quotes, opportunities, and project updates
  • Assist the BDM team by producing tailored marketing collateral for presentations
  • Contribute to the efficacy and advancement of our QMS/EMS by upholding and promoting our quality and environmental policies in all job functions.
  • Additional duties as required from time to time as per business requirements.

About You

Success in this role means being a confident communicator and natural team player who thrives under pressure and is driven to deliver exceptional customer experiences. They will also bring:

  • Strong communication, organisation, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven customer service experience with a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Quick learner with the ability to develop product knowledge and support quoting and order management
  • Skilled in using CRM systems and handling phone-based interactions
  • Experience in the electrical or construction industry is a plus
